Final Fantasy V & VI Have "Technical Problems" On DS

If you've been dream that Square-Enix would remake Final Fantasy V and Final Fantasy VI for the DS (as it did to Net Fantasy IV), you might have to just keep on dreaming. On the other hand, you might non.

Square-Enix's full-3D remake of beloved SNES JRPG Ultimate Fantasy Cardinal (also proverbial as Final Fantasy Two) led more or less to contemplate that the publisher would be working along remaking its successors, Final Fantasy V and the such-beloved Final Fantasize VI. Information technology made common sense – if you remade indefinite, you're probably thinking all but remaking the others, satisfactory?

As IT turns out, the answer could beryllium both "yes" and "no." Yesterday, Square-Enix producer Shinji Hashimoto updated the Square-Enix Members' Twitter business relationship in answer to individual questions from fans of the studio's games. Antecedently, Hashimoto had said that non-iMode releases of the publisher's Ever Heart Odyssey and a downloadable vent of the SNES form of address Seiken Densetsu 3 were both "undecided." When asked well-nig the possibility of FFV and FFVI for DS, though, He responded:

"For FF5 and 6, there are technical issues as well, so at present these are also undecided."

Undecided, yes – but the fact that Square-Enix is alert that there are technical issues means that the company has at least thought about remaking those games long enough to work into problems.

I'm just personally confused on what technical problems there could represent that weren't there in remake Final Fantasy IV. Are FF5 and FF6 truly all that contrasting from the first SNES Final Fantasy? What, is entirely the Mode 7 too much for the Element 110 to handle?
